| DESCRIPTION: | The Supports Assistant (SA) works directly in a group home or apartment setting with adults who are mentally retarded. The sites are located in the community and are scattered throughout the western and southern suburbs of Allegheny County. Two to four live at a site. Staff assigned to the site assist them with the same daily activities that you do for yourself. The amount of assistance a person receives depends upon his or her capabilities. |
| QUALIFICATIONS: | Valid Driver's License (PA, OH, or WV) High School Diploma (or equivalent) Able to lift/transfer people Reliable means of transportation |
